Eric sets the scene by explaining exactly what eFTI is and why 2027 is a deadline no logistics business can afford to ignore. The regulation mandates that every EU member state must accept digital freight data in a standardised format, effectively ending decades of document fragmentation across road, rail, inland waterway, and air transport. As Eric puts it, the window to adapt is closing fast.
